Hi,

Unfortunately I did not know about all of the counterfeit Silverlit Picoo Z helicopters until it was too late.
I purchased one of the "knock -off" copters from Hobbytron a week ago. Had I known, I never would have made the purchase from them.
I sent Hobbytron an email today notifying them that I am now aware that they sold me a counterfeit product. I have not yet received a response. The copter does seem to operate ok. The box was marked "Pico Z" and did not have the Silverlit logo.
I truly hope that your legal action against Hobbytron is successful. Eddie Cain

I wish did some research.
I bought what i thought was a PiccoZ from Hobbytron and received a “Pico Z”. I didn’t realize this until it started having problems after about 10 flights.
I when on to a forum where it said Hobbytron is sending out fakes.
I have since e-mailed them, faxed them and called them and I have not received a response.
I demanded that they send me a real picco z or give me my money back. Below is a copy of the receipt that they sent me. It shows that I was supposed to receive a 2007 picco z guaranteed in stock. This is a bunch of crap. Let me know if you know of recourse I can take.
Thanks, Mike Keiler

Hello,
I am writing per a request on the Silverlit website to send in accounts of conterfeit Picoo-Zs on the market.
I recently bought one of the knockoffs from HobbyTron. I only wish I had known enough to know that it was a knockoff at the time.
The thing was defective right out of the box with a malfunctioning (intermittent signal) transmitter.
I have yet to seek a replacement or refund because HobbyTron has a horrible reputation for customer service and I think I'd have better luck fixing this one on my own.
I did purchase the genuine article once I knew what to look for and it's one heck of a product.
Loads of fun in the office!

Hello,
i was one of the people duped by hobbytron, and am in an ongoing case with the Better Business Bureau on behalf of silverlit and the consumer,
i have filed detailed complaint with hobbytron, and have spread the word online as much as i could, and have even contacted media outlets reguarding this they have responded to me claiming they do not mention the name silverlit on their site, and made no attemt to reconcile with me on this issue but they do use your SKU#, and your name Picoo Z (Formerly Picco Z) as shown in my invoice below, yet i recieved the PicoZ
i appreciate silverlits efforts to make hobbytron accountable for thier actions thanks, and i willl be buying a actual PicooZ now, and will reccommend them to my friends.
