The Little Bee clones did indeed turn out to be junk.
I wrote the reseller HeliHobby.com and paypal.com prior to receiving my counterfeit helicopters and never received a reply to my concerns that the product may be fake. I have tried to contact HeliHobby numerous times and they never respond. I notified PayPal about the counterfeit goods, but they are doing nothing because I accidentely closed their online dispute process. I have pointed out to them that the product I received was counterfeit, but they don't seem to care at all. It's very frustrating that I cannot do anything about this.... Rob Ganshorn

I purchased 2 "picoo Z" from Helihobby.com.
I thought I was buying legit copters but once they arrived they were the "Little Bee" branded ones. Helihobby had the name picoo Z and Honey Bee on their website along with the same video from Hobbytron.com.
After I received my order they changed their website from honey bee to little bee. I tried contacting them about a refund but would not take them back unless they were defective without a restocking fee. I am interesting in purchasing a legit copter, as I want to support SilverLit and the designer of these awesome products. Can you provide a list of retailers in the U.S. that I can purchase a legit item from? Thanks, Brandon Sanspree

Hello,
I am writing to let you know that I received a counterfeit PiccoZ in an order placed by my wife on the 13th.
What I received is a Chinese "Pico Z" knockoff as documented in this thread on RCGroups. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=607221
This proves that MANY others are also receiving counterfeit helicopters. I tried to call and leave a message regarding this, but the voicemail box is full. I am most displeased and unless this can be satisfactorily resolved, I will be contacting AmEx to have charges reversed. The only resolution that I will consider is to be refunded in full with return shipping paid as well. This was ordered by Brandy Garner on December 13. Order # 364740 Thanks, Mike

I bought the Picooz--
what I thought was the Picooz--based on a very positive review at Extremetech.com. In that review they list the Silverlit Web site--misspelled--as a link, but the link takes you to Hobbytron.com, apparently located in Utah.
Since I couldn't get the Picooz via RadioShack.com, or either of their local stores in Pasadena, CA, I ordered at the last minute from Hobbytron.com, where they have a "Guaranteed In-Stock" message posted for the product, along with lots of details about it and a nice video demonstration.
So on Christmas Day I wasted about two hours trying to get this thing to fly at all: It just kept falling over and rotating, regardless of the amount of trim I tried to apply. Suspicious because I'd seen your note about fraudulent copies, I noticed the box spelled the name as "Picoz," with just one 'o', and Silverlit's name didn't appear on the box.
The instructions and even the box also included a lot of misspellings and bad grammar, and there were various obvious omissions in the instructions. But I thought I was dealing with a reputable site. So why does the link posted at Extremetech.com take someone to a peddler of fraudulent product? And I also have to ask why you don't list the names of known sellers of bad product in your announcement; it would have saved me a lot of time to have known.
Do you have any suggestions as to where I can file a complaint about Hobbytron.com besides with you and Extremetech.com? Where are you headquartered? Are you an American company? Thanks..

I thought I was purchasing 8 Picoo Z helicopters from www.helihobby.com, but what I received were 8 counterfeit versions called "LittleBee".

I ordered these for our office because so many of my co-workers wanted them for christmas presents after seeing my (real) Picoo Z. I would have told them to go buy them at Wal Mart, but nobody seems to have stock anymore (Canada). I thought I was doing everyone a favour, but I cannot give these to others in good conscious knowing that they are probably junk.
I spent $330 so far and feel ripped off. . Rob Ganshorn
